Agua Fresca Flor de Jamaica by Cool Chile

 
A classic Mexican agua fresca, flor de Jamaica has a beautiful colour and a tart refreshing taste.
 
Makes 4 large drinks or 6 with ice.
 
50g Hibiscus Flowers 
150g sugar 
1.5 litres water
 
Put the hibiscus flowers and sugar into a jug that will hold 2 litres. Pour on 500ml boiling water, stir until sugar is dissolved, top up with 1 litre cold water, cover and put in the refrigerator over night.
 
Next day, strain the flor de Jamaica and serve in tall glasses with ice.
