Quesadillas are the ultimate satisfying snacks: quick to prepare, all they need is some cheese and a little salsa on the side, but you can also get creative and fill them with whatever you fancy. Chorizo, garlic fried mushrooms, leftover roast veg... make your own creations and hit that snackable spot.

    1. Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Rub or brush a small amount of oil on one side of a tortilla and place oil side down in the pan. Turn the heat down to low. 
    2. Add grated cheese to cover the tortilla, leaving a little border around the edge. When the cheese begins to melt, add your filling to one half of the tortilla. 
    3. Fold the tortilla in half and continue to cook until the cheese is gooey and fully melted. Remove to a plate and repeat to make the next one. 
    4. Serve with your choice of salsa and eat as soon as they're cool enough not to burn your mouth.
