Overview:

A spicy salsa made with tomatillos, coriander and hot green chilli. Tangy tomatillos (small, green, sour fruits) give this salsa a distinctive zingy flavour.

Instructions:

Use as a dip or blend with avocado for a richer dip. For enchiladas or chilaquiles, heat the sauce thinning as necessary with water or stock.

Suggestions:

Enchiladas are quick fried corn tortillas dipped in chilli sauce rolled around a warm filling such as refried beans, potato or chicken and served with more sauce, crema, crumbled cheese and slices of onion. Chilaquiles are totopos (chips) cooked in a sauce and then topped with cream , crumbled cheese and slices of onion.

Tomatillos (68%) , onion, coriander (3%), sunflower oil, sea salt, hot green chilli, citric acid.

Storage:

Once opened, refrigerate and use within 1 week.
