Made with white corn flour, our soft 15cm corn tortillas are an essential for making classic Mexican snacks and street food.
Tortillas are the plate, spoon and fork of Mexican food.
These multitasking tortillas can be warmed to make soft tacos, folded and toasted to make quesadillas, covered in spicy sauce to make enchiladas, or served as an accompaniment to meals.
We make our corn tortillas fresh every day from Mexican masa harina (nixtamalized corn flour).

Chorizo and spring onion quesadillas with tomatillo guacamole
Dice cooking chorizo and slice spring onions, then fry until the chorizo releases its oil and starts to caramelise, and the onion is soft and coloured. Season and spoon a couple of tablespoons of the mixture on to one half of a tortilla, then top with a combination of grated cheddar and mozzarella, leaving a small border around the edge. Fold the tortilla over into a half moon and cook for a couple of minutes on each side in a non-stick pan on a low-medium heat until the outside is crisp and golden and the cheese melted. Slice into wedges before serving with mashed avocado mixed together with Cool Chile Co Tomatillo Salsa.

For soft tacos: Lightly toast each side of the tortilla in a hot pan (no need for oil) for around 20 seconds then keep covered until ready to serve.
For totopos and tostadas: Cut tortillas into triangles for totopos, or keep whole for tostadas. Heat neutral oil in a high-sided pan or deep fat fryer and fry a single layer of tortillas, turning once, until crisp and just starting to colour. Drain on kitchen towel and sprinkle with salt before serving.
Storage: Keep refrigerated. Once open, wrap and consume by best before date.
Suitable for freezing: Freeze on day of purchase and consume within 1 month. To use, prise tortillas off one at a time and cook from frozen, or keep wrapped to defrost in the refrigerator. Keep refrigerated and use within 2 days.
