Agua de Madre is made from the elemental Tibicos Mother Culture discovered two thousand years ago on the pads of the Mexican Opuntia cactus. This culture is fed, nurtured and used in the fermentation process of this delicious, probiotic, naturally sparkling water kefir, drink.
The Original flavour is made with organic ginger, lemon and dried Spanish figs.
The combination of trillions of healthy live cultures and organic fruits make this delicious naturally sparkling drink. As well as being super healthy, it has a very small amount of alcohol that gives it the yeasty mouthfeel of drinking with all the benefits of a live drink and none of the downsides. It is fermented with home-grown, live water kefir culture in a railway arch in Bohemia Place, Hackney.
As a living drink this product is sent out chilled with a gel pack and an air sac, upon receipt refrigerate immediately, serve cold. There is a shelf life of which you will get no less than 5 days.
Product contains some alcohol, under 1.2%, as a natural by-product of fermentation. As such it is not suitable for children or pregnant women.
Great on its own with ice and mint and as a live mixer.
Agua de Madre will be sent in a cool box with lambs wool, please refrigerate on receipt.
