TequilaMatchMaker Rating: 89
Erica Boomrom: Aroma: Complex with pear/peach fruit notes, cooked agave, vanilla, oak, and mint. Taste: You can definitely taste the extra alcohol on this one. But that does play nicely into the baking spice/black pepper spiciness this tequila has going on. There is also some degree of peach here as well as caramel and a small amount of oak. Finish: Long and somewhat hot with emphasis on the black pepper/baking spice. Some vanilla. Great complex flavour.
Remy Newland: Nose: Lush cooked agave, redolent of recently cooked agave, newly out of the horno. Ripe pitted fruit, minerals, peach pit and vanilla. And a bit of olive. Flavour: Viscous and vibrant mouth sensation - barrel spice, white pepper, black pepper, faint citrus and caramel. Finishes with substantial heat and trace vanilla.'
