
Quiquiriqui Mezcal Tobala is produced in Las Margaritas, Oaxaca by Don Petronilo using wild maguey Tobala. Production is limited to protect the wild agave population. Don Petronilo produces this mezcal using traditional techniques which begin with pit roasting, then crushing the cooked agaves with a tahona, and then naturally fermenting in wooden containers. Quiquiriqui Tobala has aromas of coconut with flavour notes of tropical fruits, light smoke and buttery popcorn.
