Frijoles Negros Refritos from trusted Mexican brand - Carey.
Refry is useful for many dishes! Reheated from the tin it is stiff enough for what we call 'black guac' which we use as a base or 'glue' for tostadas, tortas and tacos. As a side dish, we prefer to thin with a little water, reseasoning if necessary, so it is the consistency of light houmous, the perfect accompaniment to breakfast dishes, meat dishes and botanas. Sprinkle with a little grated cheese and squirt with a piece of lime, ¡Que rico!
