Chile Guajillo is a mild to medium hot dried chilli. Our powder is made from ground whole guajillo chillies.
Smooth-skinned guajillo chilli is one of the workhouse spices of Mexican cooking (along with the ancho chilli) and has a bright, tangy flavour.
Mix together with árbol chilli powder and oil to make a paste for marinating – great on a roast chicken.
Powdered chillies don’t require any soaking or toasting so just add directly to whatever you’re making.
Store in a cool and dry place. Avoid exposure to light.
Made in a factory that handles nuts, peanuts and sesame.
Guajillo (gwah-hee-yoh), meaning ‘little gourd’, refers to this chilli’s shape.
