Or use to make a Batanga, similar to a Paloma but swopping the grapefruit soda for cola, or if you want to look at it a different way like a Cuba Libre but with Tequila instead of rum.
Don Javier Delgado Corona created this cocktail (and the Paloma!) in his bar in Tequila called La Chapilla (The Chapel) around 1961. He famously stirred this drink with the knife that he cut the limes with - cool!

Recipe for Batanga Cocktail
Dress a collins glass with a salt rim.
Squeeze in 1/2 -1 lime, add a pinch of salt and stir, fill the glass with ice, add 50ml tequila blanco or reposado of your choice, top up with about 100ml of cola. Stir with the knife that cut the limes, drink!
