A staple in Mexican cooking, tomatillos may look like small green tomatoes, but they’re actually related to cape gooseberries (Physalis). Their bright, tangy flavour is often described as a cross between green plums and rhubarb — tart, fresh, and uniquely vibrant.
Use tomatillos to make salsa verde or add them to soups, stews, and sauces for authentic Mexican flavour.
Our tomatillos are grown in the Netherlands and supplied fresh.
