Cascahuín Tequila - NOM 1123

This Mexican family-owned distillery uses traditional methods and no additives. They raise their own agaves in the mineral-rich, volcanic soil of the Tequila Valley to full maturity before harvesting. This terroir creates a flavour profile that is earthy, spicy, and herbal. All their expressions are cooked in traditional brick ovens, use deep-well water for minerality and are distilled in a stainless steel pot with a copper coil.

Cascahuín Tahona Blanco uses a tahona wheel for extraction which imparts rich agave flavours and is fermented in cement tanks with fibres. Plata 48% is nearly at still strength offering undiluted flavours.
